RE: Soviet OOB question

Hrm. Less frontal armor than the T-28e, but better than the base T-28 (and about as good as the T-34). Less sloping though, it seems. It's ungodly fast on wheels though.

RE: Soviet OOB question

I would assume it also used the more modern antitank gun of the B type. No data on whether it would've incorporated the extra armor as well, but it seems likely given when it was developed and what it would have been expected to fight.

RE: Soviet OOB question

The Maus is in the OOB, though, and only one completely functional model was made. Granted, it is a more high profile vehicle than an obscure Soviet tank, but at least the T-29 saw combat. ;p

Soviet OOB question

Is the prototype T-29 (the T-28 with Christie suspension) in the OOB? A very few were made and fought around Leningrad/Stalingrad.

Small Soviet OOB nitpick

I recently read that there were a few T-35s made that had one of their forward machinegun turrets replaced with a flamethrower-- can someone confirm this?

Maybe it's because they are better sloped, but, when I began a Long campaign with soviets (from 1939 on) I found that my Bt-5 had a better chance of surviving than the T-28 when sustaining direct hits... ¡Damn, I even lost t-28s against the Lt ...

An annoyance with editing

I want to put the 63 kg mortar from the Mk II Hedgehog onto a Soviet unit, but the Soviet OOB doesn't have the mortar in it's waepons lists. On the number where the mortar is on the ANZAC OOB, the Churchil AVRE gun is instead.

How can I fix this?

T-28Es in Heros of the Motherland instead of T-34s?

<t> After getting pounded several times in the opening battle of Heros of the Motherland (due to lack of forces), I looked for a cheaper alternative to the T-34.<br/>
<br/>
In many ways, the T-28E appears to be about as good or even better than the T-34. Of course, it's slow, but it has a ton of ...
