RE: No Ship Production in Random Games

Upon further review, my problem simply seems to be that you need to click on the coastal city in order to she that ships are available. Somehow thought that could determine this in the overall production screen. Sorry.

RE: No Ship Production in Random Games

<t> Yes, there's a city on a coast at the beginning of a number of games generated and no ships are available. But after a save and restart, as with some tests today, it seems that ships can then be built. (One match, I confused the abilities of a port vs. a shipyard, which explains the problem ...

No Ship Production in Random Games

<t> Have been away from ATG for a while, and can't remember much about naval operations, but many random games I've tried using anewdawn3.at2 are created without having "Ships" listed as a production choice, even when there are oceans and distinct continents. Is this normal?<br/>

Sorta curious as to what time everyone would have been using: local London or local Continental time, at least, for writing-up reports? Was everyone using GMT? Were the the AB forces in theatre set to + 1 hr from London?

Cheers,
Jim M.

<t>John, re your query:<br/>
<br/>
I’ve got a nice Sony 19” CRT. There is nothing wrong with the images. They are fairly crisp, though tiny. The issue for me is that the current display just seems too remote and un-engaging for resolving local situations. It’s simply easier and more pleasing to see ...

<t>I second the motion for a zoom feature. Just ran TAO2 and reveled in the size of the units and the accessibility of the terrain information. (The units actually looked a bit too big, and, yes, I wanted a larger zoomed-out view sorta like KP's for TAO.) But, with KP it&#8217;s a chore for me to ...

Use of Combat Advisor Leaves Moved Enemy Units Darkened

<t>In a number of scenarios, playing as either side, had enemy units that had moved at some point turn dark and pretty much remain so after using the Combat Advisor. Simply activating the Advisor was ok, but when clicked on an enemy unit, it all went bad. <br/>
<br/>
In ensuing enemy turns, it seems ...

<t>OK, re-installed, but still having the issue of Explorer giving a page fault after exiting from game and using the Windows Start button. Tried starting directly from Korsun.exe which didn&#8217;t evoke Korsun Main Menu, but whenever close down program, such as to start another tutorial or ...

<t>I&#8217;ve had similar issues as described in this thread, the most disturbing was that after an un-install, the font on my browser was different (smaller) and I couldn&#8217;t seem to change it via the browser. The file name &#8220;menu1.ttf&#8221;&#8221; was substituted for the normal Arial ...
