RE: Landless

Screenshot and options file on their way Alex.

Thanks for the suggestion PoE. Talk of BIOS brings me out in a cold sweat, but I may have a delve if I get really desperate. CaW works fine on my desktop PC so, thankfully, I do have other options.

Landless

<t> I'm trying to play CaW on an oldish Toshiba laptop (1.6Ghz CPU, 384MB RAM, Geforce4 440 Go GPU) and can't seem to get the land layer to display. All I'm currently seeing is ocean, clouds, base labels, and TG icons [&:]<br/>

RE: 10000 metre visibility?

Didn't mean to nag [;)]

The problem has rather put me off mapmaking though. From my very limited investigations it looks like most (all?) community-made HTTR maps are affected (no spotting whatsoever at ranges above approx 2KM) Would seem to indicate an issue with MapMaker.

RE: Changing elevation intervals

I get the crashes too and have just realised there's a simple workaround.

Just create a blank map with the desired altitude interval and paste your map on top of it.

A quick question about Map Maker

Is there any way to change the terrain type of an existing object or line? It would be a very handy feature. (Select object or line then ctrl+click on new terrain type?)

Glad you enjoyed it iaidoka. It's a little tougher with the reinforcement options set to favour Axis (IIRC the gliders with the AT guns dont make it, and the paras have a longer tab to the bridges)

Copy+Paste units in ScenMaker?

Just wondering if there is any way of copying and pasting units from one scenario to another in ScenMaker rather than picking everything individually from the Estabs?
