had same problem what i did to fix it was , put cd in close out all things then go down to run and browse to the load file frogot what it was and load the game threw your run and it should load up fine

Had a slow load problem as well but what i did to fix it was when you put the cd in close everything out then go to your run and browse to the file that loads the game I dont recall what it was and load the game this way and it loaded just fine for me using the run.
