Recover queue worked, too bad I forgot to back up the autosave ... also, the remaining enemy was NOT out of GMH ammo. Oh well, it dies soon enough, I hope...

Another problem...

<t>Okay, this time the game clock just runs. It's up to 7200+, it's a long battle but not THAT long. Final map of Android Rebellion, I've killed 2 titans, lost 1, and the last enemy is likely out of ammo for at least SOME weapons (it's a GMH & GME design, 100 ton). Actually, one of the enemy titans ...

I just had the same problem show up ... is it going to be fixed in the patch? I'll just backup my autosave in the meantime, then break move on the suspected problem.

Total mismatches

<t>Well, I just tried to play "Agram's Fortress". It's not going well. I think I'll have to start a new squad, I don't have the tonnage for the map or the money to bail out ... if only tonnage figures were given. Same applies to the "Android Rebellion" campaign, actually, there was twice my tonnage ...

Are you referring to the "Save all information" option under dxdiag? Let me know and I'll send it.

<t>Right, I seem to have found the problem. I managed to start installation on my C: drive after fiddling with some things, so tried to put it in the right place, D: (my games partition). No joy. I then tried to put it on the F: drive, and it worked (the install, checking for patches before playing ...

Sounds nice, now if I could only use them ... maybe I'll try disabling things in BIOS, it MIGHT get the installer to work...

Okay, I tried with the DVD-ROM, no joy (BSOD again). I also noticed the filenames were changing, so I looked to see if ANYTHING was being written to disk. 3 files were created (in multiple attempts), all with length 0.

Only tried the CD-RW, the second drive (plus the HD). I'll try the DVD-ROM now, but I'll kill all possible TSRs first.

<t>Further attempts, further details ... I tried disabling all possible TSRs (only Task Scheduler and the volume control were active), then disabled the USB ports which weren't in use anyway, but it shuffled some of the IRQs). Got a BSOD one time, fatal exception 0D at 0028:C000B25A in VXD VMM(01 ...

I just tried to install Titans of Steel: Warring Suns twice, and my computer rebooted both times. This can't be right ... any ideas? I only just saw a message about copying some file starting with a, a dll of some sort.
