Activate PT Boats

Hello,

I'm new with this game.
Can anyone explain me or point to the right Thread about 'Activate Pt Boats', 'Activate Landing Craft' and 'Activate MCBs' that are greyed out on cargo Task forces ?

RE: WitPTracker AE Release 1.0

<t> Hello,

I'm new to WITP AE.
So far I've overcome all the hurdles to make everything work on a new PC (SeaBee, dual Java install, etc ...).

Last problem I have is to make the tracker work with scenario 100 (working fine with stock scenario Coral Sea).
There is ...

Actually, considering how much of a mess the first game was, it'll not be that hard to beat.

I think the first game is/was a very good game and I don't know what mess you are talking about.

Recon in this game is also ridiculous generally. There is little or no opportunity for operational surprise. Players have way more intelligence on the enemy than they ought to. and once again the air model is the villain of the piece ...

Lowering supply production isn't the way to deal with this, imo, but I can see it's the most readily available way to address the matter given the constraints of the editor. Transportation is the real constraint, not supply per se.
Sudden death and a dynamic VP system, eventually linked with NM evolution are not the same question.
You can have one with or without the other.

Why do we always mix the two debates ?

RE: Sudden Death Optional Rule Proposal

<t> I think our problem is that we are mixing three debates:

1) Is the game a a good simulation/modelization of warfare at the time ?
- logistics is overly favorable for offensive side
- are political / economical constraints correctly modelized ?
