Re: Matrix tech support

I finally heard back and all is good now. Apparently, someone's vacation messed things up for a bit.

Just wanted all to know that support did take care on my issue.

Re: Matrix tech support

I got confirmation of the ticket submission, but that is it so far. I just want a turn in a MP WaW rolled back to the start of the Axis turn and nothing but crickets. I looked at the tickets on My Page under support and no replies from anyone. I even have a ticket number 2025031210000193 and it says ...

Matrix tech support

Is anyone alive over there? I have contacted them several times about a MP issue with a PBEM game and have gone a week without any action or response. Is there anything else I can do as submitting tickets does not seem to do anything.

Patch?

Does anyone have a clue as to when the next patch for WiE and WaW is coming out? I have been waiting to start a MP in both but want to wait until the patches come out? The last I heard over a month ago was 'soon'. Any chance we can get a better timeline than that?

I do not see it listed on the store page. When will it be listed? Do you have a link to the 60% price purchase?

Re: Naval question.

Are there any chances to the Naval part of this title compared to WaW?
Thanks.

I'm assuming you meant 'changes' to the naval part of this title.

There are some developer diary posts in this forum and an ongoing AAR being posted as well if you care to look. Seems to still be the standard ...

PBEM roll back please

Our WaW game got messed up when Japan instead of Germany declared war on the Low Countries.

Can you please roll the game back to the start of April 30, 1940 with the Axis turn starting? Below is a screenshot if that helps.

Re: Different how?

Also, Pacific War is about task force, its composition, its screen and when I see the screenshots, I am under the impression that you can't put a BB with plenty of AAA guns to protect your CV in the same task force counter. Am I wrong?

Thats' always been a glaring issue with Strategic Command ...

Re: Different how?

With both SC WaW and Warplan Pacific this is a massive issue. They should use airfield boxes (or some other method) like Carriers at War 4 does it.

Sorry, Carriers at War 4 ? Do you have a link to this game? Perhaps are you talking of Carrier Battles 4 Guadalcanal ?

Yes I meant Carriers ...

Re: Different how?

I like the SC series, but modeling the Pacific War is very difficult for any game. Also single player vs AI can be tricky to model/program. The one unit per hex rule is definitely a glaring issue. In other games of the series you could overlook that when it came to naval warfare, because the ...

Different how?

So we have SC World at War, Warplan Pacific, plus other titles. How is this game going to be different other than a SC WiE re-skin?

Obviously the scale will be different than WaW so smaller unit sizes as a guess. but that alone does not seem to be enough of a difference.

Will WiE be able to tie in ...

Re: TRP - World at War ALPHA Released v0.7.6

Japan needs some major changes in China. China was able to overrun everything to the Russian border by '43. Wiped out Japan in China by the end of '41.

Japan should get all of its historical gains by script if possible. As in my game against the Axis AI, Japan never took the PI, Borneo, Wake, or ...

Re: TRP - World at War ALPHA Released v0.7.5

Any way to use the 7.5 version in a 7.4 game already in progress?

Also SP as the Allies seems to be working ok with 7.4. In Sept '40

Re: A few pre-purchase questions?

I personally would avoid the World SC game, especially in multiplayer. At least not without a LOT of house rules.

I had the Axis player in my MP game invade Panama with Japan in 1944 with two Japanese corps, which they conquered (I quit the game at this point as this was so far out or reality I ...

This mod is so awesome. I hope it continues to be developed so the Axis side can be played SP as well as the Allies.

Re: Fantasy time in WaW

Well, the AI would never do such a thing as to invade East of Midway, so that does not seem to be a valid argument. All you would need to do is to flag everything around HI and East of there to the West coast of the Americas as impassible by Japan. Problem solved. Nothing else in the game needs to ...

Re: Fantasy time in WaW

Let's look at DDay. 2 Corps, 1 US and 1 British invaded. And look at what that took to go across about a 15 mile gap.

Now you are suggesting that Japan who had a major shortage of many things, including oil, could cross about 8.5K distance to deliver any sizeable force to Panama?

Also, Japan had ...
