P.S. Can you clarify range with helicopters. I have a helicopter that has far higher fire power at a two hex range than one. If I am adjacent to a target at nap altitude is this considered a one hex range? Low a two hex range? At a high altitude damage might be limited for other reasons? I keep ...

Helicopters can't fire

Hi folks, I noticed helicopters will not fire if low on ammo. I assume this is deliberate and not a bug?
I don't remember reading about this.

Ride of the Valkyries - Battle of Quang

Hi folks, I made a list last year of promising looking PBEM scenarios. One was Ride of the Valkyries - Battle of Quang.
I thought I would start this one off today but it seems to have been removed from the game. I just wondered why?

One more question Jason. When tracing a path back to a parent HQ are enemy ZOCs the only consideration? Do major rivers or other terrain features also block the path?

Hi folks, I've noticed that every so often the Units Off menu option or the K key stop working. To fix, all I have to do is return to the main menu and then go back into the game. A minor annoyance but I thought to mention it. It's the only key or menu option that I have this problem with. I could ...

2. How does the top HQ in the hierarchy get supply? Just one chance from general supply? If that chance fails the next HQ down just has to rely on general supply also?

A battalion HQ will look up to the Regiment or Brigade HQ for it's supply, not the ...

1. If a unit is not isolated but its company commander is, can the unit have a chance of receiving supply from the Battalion HQ (or higher) + a second chance from general supply?

I know but if I'm told by GHQ that there are no tanks there might be (Arnhem). If the game is telling me there are no tanks I assume there really are no tanks. I shouldn't know this.

But if there is a - for Main Battle Tanks does this tell me there is no chance of any tanks or could the report be wrong and there may be a few? If it means there are definitely none I have too much information.

Thanks Crossroads. So it's just an intelligence estimate of enemy strength.
Does this just mean that the numbers when given may vary? Would a zero always mean zero or could there potentially be a small number of enemy tanks in this example?

Hi folks, I'm confused that when playing with the new update with FoW on I can see side B information under Force Status.
I can't see side B info under the Strength Report tab. Why can I see this - or I do not understand something (quite possible).
