RE: Version not shown

<t> No, that's definitely not normal.&nbsp; If the patch worked properly, the main menu screen should show the version number 5.0.2 directly below the game logo.&nbsp; Also, if you check the errlog.txt file in the game directory, the very top of it should look like this:<br/> <br/> [font="co...

RE: Repainting Ships??

<t> Yes, that's correct - skins affect the first model only.&nbsp; I hadn't really thought about it before, but I guess that's a minor bug, huh?&nbsp; I'll have to look into enabling skinning on all of the models in each detail level.&nbsp; It's actually a pretty minor code change, I'm j...

RE: Patch 5.0.1 is up

<t> We're working with Natural Point to get set up with a current developer's kit (I only have the old TrackIR 3 series at the moment).&nbsp; Once that happens, we will need to figure out which TrackIR 4 features make sense for Starshatter, and then implement them.&nbsp; Ironically, that las...

<t> Long story short, Matrix is working on an official version of the patch with a complete installer that should take care of those niceties.&nbsp; I wanted to get this into people's hands as quickly as possible, so I released the quick-and-dirty version without a real installer.<br/> <br/> Sph...

<t> Even though&nbsp;your GeForce2 card is below spec, it might be enough if you crank everything down to minimum detail.&nbsp; I'm more concerned about your system RAM.&nbsp; The dynamic campaign engine&nbsp;uses a lot of&nbsp;memory as it is trying to keep track of hundreds of ...

Did the game work before the patch?&nbsp; What version were you running?
&nbsp;
Can you post an error log produced after installing the patch?

Thanks!
