SPWAW - the dreaded Y key problem

<t> I put this in the SPWAW forum but was told this would probably be a better place.<br/>
<br/>
Whenever I hit the "y" key while playing I get the black screen of death. I have to manually stop the program. Not only this, but when I try to re-load all my OOB are missing and the campaign is for ...

<br/>
Alby - Didnt know about that site, thanks for the hookup. I'll try there also.<br/>

RE: bug with email

Thats not a bug, its a "Feature not added".
:)

Really tho, I don't consider it a bug, just a feature you want that isnt there. Like 1600x1200 graphics or some such.

I feel for ya tho. Ever consider shortening that E-mail addy?

RE: Downloadable cd over?

Well,
Not being a graphical person myself, I think it would be easy to have someone whip one up. Submit it to the appropriate forum. Anyone?

As for an official one, its just icing to me, I want the cake.

RE: The price

<t> I really fail to see what people complain about. When I bought my first REAL computer game, Ultima 4, I paid how much? You guessed it!!! $50!!! and this was back in 1985. I bought my first comic book for $.35. What do you get for that now? Movies when I was growing up were $1.25 Matinee.<br ...

Music with the game.

Perhaps its been asked but I can't find it in the forum.

One of the songs you hear on the game has some digitilized voice on it. Anyone know what it says? Some about the bulge, Germany...

I like the keyboards on it as well. The do get tiring after a while tho.

RE: AI stacking 7 high??

One thing I think about when I hear a bug like this is all the wild and crazy things I heard about happening during our various wars (US here, I'm sure other nations have thier weirdness too). In fact I think I'll make that another thread.

In response to Paul about guilty pleasures, one wonders what your son would think if you had my WRX instead of the Forrster. :)

<t> I've always thought the Finns get short shrift when it comes down to it. It seems to me they ere as tough and innovative as the germans without having the huge industrial might backing them up. To keep hope up when facing the Russian hordes must have been something else. I'll have to read more ...

RE: AtD Russian AI: Defends in depth?

<t> ok, letsa get my thoughts together.<br/>
<br/>
When I am attacking, <br/>
<br/>
1. I want to make sure I will hurt the other guy more than me<br/>
<br/>
2. After I attack I'm going to be left hanging sometimes, single units in clear terrain, etc. <br/>

3. I want to have a definite ...

RE: 1rst Ukrainian front - Taiko vs. Paul

<r> Russian Turn 5 - More advancing, notibly the 5Th Mech advancing on Medvin. I'm sure the defenders in the pocket groaned when they saw that move. I think this means the russians have given up on the pocket for now. More Forts and pickets fall. But the most interesting thing is 2 units of the ...

You look for weaknesses - Areas of a few chewed up troops that can be mauled or drestroyed.<br/>
