For me, the optional rules made the game and I'm trying to learn EiH. Building on the rules makes it a living and breathing ...

I'm quite excited about this game. My brother and I started playing it when I was eleven, (I'm now pushing 30) so it's a part of my life.
I'm even interested in buying a PC just so I can play EiA, and for a die hard Mac user, that's huge ...

RE: IP Play or NOT to IP Play? That is the question!

I think it'd be advantageous to be able to play by IP, hotseat, and PBEM. The more options the better in my opinion.

Yet again if this delays the game then add it later. I have no idea how much time it adds to game designing to add stuff like this.

I am not sure how Prussian can defeat France without Austria, but OK, whatever. Also, in the beginning, I have seen a Prussia/Au/GB coalition against France start the game at war with France, because in the beginning Au/Pr have a good ...

does Mac have a Windows emulator?
Yes. Virtual PC (Connectix, now owned by Microsoft) allows you to run any Windows version (including XP) on your Mac. It puts Windows in a window.. where you can drag/drop items in between the two OS. The two have a simulated network ...

diplomatic agreements

One of the large draws that the board version of EiA has is the diplomacy. I'm curious how the diplomacy will work in the computer version.

I'm especially curious how it will work if you're playing against AI.

curious..

RE: Request another honest answer

personally i liked the EiH additions.. but either way, i won't complain about what Matrix adds or doesn't add. to boycott the game because of a few things that you dislike is kinda silly, if you ask me.
