RE: What 'House Rules' Are the Ones You Use?

<t> The most important rule you need, is to limit airbase bombing to 1-3 after turn 1 for Soviets. <br/>
<br/>
You may want to consider airborne and sea invasion limits at -41 too.<br/>
<br/>
There is NO point to limit HQ buildup at all. That is ok feature for new and average players.<br ...

RE: So, what would it take for Hitler to get a political victory?

Simple political solution: Assasinate Stalin and the rest would collapse.
Stalin was the force, who kept everything under control.

Without him there would not have been working faction. That and
controlling Leningrad & Moscow would have been total victory.

I was happy myself to restrict to 1 bombing per hex with airbases throughout the war in my PBEM. Can't see why the others have such problems. And improved interceptions meant Pe-2 40-60 bombers lost per raid (with escorts).

Production screen - damaged?

<r> Is there some purpose on damaged tab in production screen? I mean it is always<br/>
empty. I could have dozens of tanks and planes damaged and they never show up at<br/>
that tab. A bug or known "feature"?<br/>

a question about HQ & manpower

<t> Quite many wite players usually disband 3x Security HQ:s. Thats worth of 30000 manpower.<br/>
I just did it in my game. But looks like those disbanded didin't transfer to manpower,<br/>
but instead of spare support units. This is quite questionable thing. Even more so<br/>
after HIWI:s were ...

<t> Air War has never worked correctly in Wite. Those things are quite right in wargaming community statements. Soviets CAN destroy<br/>
Luftwaffe in a year. That is a damn stupid balance, I would say. Germans should be superior in East Front air, until late -43.<br/>
Equal between late 43-44 ...

Broken game

<t> I like this game series a lot. It is well modeled and it has a good game mechanic to represent pre world war one games.<br/>
<br/>
It is not as good with World War one though. Currently the game is bugged down and does have only minor AI. The rest comes from battleplans which gives AI few ...

Working as intended. Reactivation means motorizing static troops. Obviously mechanised division
needs more points than a foot infantry.
