RE: Guadalcanal scenario, stock + rematch with switched sides

Seeing that it's been nine and a half months since I posted the challenge I must say it successfully gestated and now I have a perfect healthy baby-frustration. I can't believe there's nobody out there willing to take on a double-short scenario game. /rant off/

Obviously not. It was such a coincidence that there is no way it was a coincidence. My logic is impecable.

RE: Anything new with the pilots?

<t> Ok, thanks. A couple of beers smarter tonight, I have to notice that the limit for new games is set on 30.000? Is this correct? Also, from the linked thread I could conclude that there was some thaught to patch this somehow, but was abandoned to concentrate the effort on AE. Unfortunatly, AE ...

Anything new with the pilots?

<r> Hi all (three of you left here) <E>:)</E><br/>
It's been a while since I double-clicked the Kate icon. Five years, I think. I'm entertaining the thaught of starting another pbem, but one thing weighs heavily on my heart - the pilot bug. I feruse to invest a few years of my life to see it all ...

RE: BACK IN BUSINESS - PzB goes East again(st) Andy Mac

<t> Hi PzB,<br/>
<br/>
You can't attack across river with HQ. Although you have combat units following the game mechanics keep them some 1 mile beihind or something. I think the game resets the movement when it comes to making the assult. try having them follow a unit with some assult value (even ...

New Caledonia is, very much like OZ (except the North), too far away to serve a purpose in the defense of the Empire. But it is a hell of a position to hold throughout 1942 and early 1943, especially when you are ...

<r> Cool stuff, I have some nice memories conquering Oz as well <E>:)</E><br/>
Still, it surprises me you would embark on such an optimistic operation in mid 42 with such a weak economy (6 months worth of planning and growing is lost). It should be an interesting time planning for my overall ...

Vanilla scenario 13 (42A)

<t> Dear all,<br/>
<br/>
I'm finding myself seriously considering to rekindle the old Imperial pbem flame and mid '42 is the scenario of choice. I am, however, completely at loss what are the experiences regarding this scenario, both as Japs and as Allies. After a successful game vs. Raver where I ...

I've been sober for more then a year now, I think. I actually played just one pbem, but before that I played UV and took about 2 years to master WitP to prepare for pbem (I was worth it). <br/>
My life right now is very different then before, now that WitP ...

Possible pbem

<r> I find myself thinking about playing a WiR pbem. It would be my first, other than that I had experience with UV and WitP. I'm still not sure I will do it, so just consider this thinking out loud <E>:)</E><br/>

RE: YH v TS - round 3 <no 8 legged creatures>

I have played in all less the 10 first turns in WitP all together. Roughly speaking, 8 times I sunk zero BBs, once one or two, and once 6(!). Same setting every time. Despite what we say about WitP, the variations in results can actually be huge - although very rarely :)
