Re: Spanking Lowpe (NJP72 vs Lowpe (A))

Nobody likes to clean up.

I was a Private in the Army with a mop in my hands. Inevitably, I had to do it, because it needs to be done and no one else is there.

I did the Sergeant Infantry stuff too, but dirty floors still need to be mopped up.

I mopped as a Lt Col too...

Re: Spanking Lowpe (NJP72 vs Lowpe (A))

Nice to have the Hiei on the bottom along with all the minelayers. Fingers crossed for the Wichita.

Looking forward to see if those two IJN Carriers run into any more submarines.

I agree with the post above.

I appreciate your AAR more than you know.

Sar,

I had not intended to start reading another AAR. You got me on your first page with your REMF reference. Not everyone has that in their lexicon.

On to page 2 and beyond.

Re: More Variants - The Allies ride again - No xargun please

Another thing to consider with the CV question is:

Do you want to have periodic massive strikes with all the CVs then retiring for refit and reload, or a continuous grind of smaller numbers, but constant pressure?

It's not a bad problem to have...

As a former Infantry dude (Leg, Mech & Air Assault), any form of transportation is a reason to take a nap. Some of my best naps were on a "Cattle Car" Deuce and a Half. 60 or so, guys with full rucks and weapons packed like sardines... Nothing to do or see, so you just slept.

Much better than ...

It always hurts to lose a carrier, but losing one to a submarine seems to hurt more, Pretty good job by an old S-Boat.

Nice shooting,

Xargun,

I am an AFB, but I love reading both you and Nomad's AARs. I really like the new format, much easier to read.

Thank you,

huge increase in enemy assets during combat

I've seen this in a couple scenarios, usually toward the end.

A mouse-over shows about 200 or so opposing infantry and assorted support elements. So I attack, usually around 6-8 to 1 odds. When it comes to combat, the opposing elements treble or quadruple to upwards of 7-800 (!) opposing infantry ...
