Adding minor to Conf of Rhine

As Prussia I have created the Confederation of Rhine, with all german minor with corps except Baden and Wurtemburg. Afterwards I have conquered both but I can not join them to the Confederation. Same applies with some Polish provinces.

How can I do it?

another Insurrection corp mistake

I've just had a battle against Austria in Viena and I was shocked when Charles carried one Insurrection corp.

I think that Insurrection corp can only stay in the four insurrection provinces, and Austria is not one of them

Troubles with Insurrection corps

<t> 1.- I'm playing Austria and facing turks the computer inmediately put one of my insurrection against a foolish feudal corp, which was destroyed, but what annoys me is that I didn't have the option to decide if I wanted to put it or not or if I wanted to put one or the two insurrection corps.<br ...

garrison surrender

If an enemy breach one of my cities I don't find how to surrender my garrison and I'm forced to fight and be exterminated. The most curious thing is that in the game manual I have the option, but I don´t see it.

RE: Who to ruin EIA

<t> About TMR, you talk about French leaders, but the effect is still more important in british leader. They are all good but they have a poor TMR, so, if TMR doesn´t exist, Wellington is as good as Napoleon; Moore as good as, for example, Kutuzov, and Beresford is just like Soult or Castaños.<br ...

RE: Tell us where to go after EiA...???

<t> About port blockade, it was a brit invention in the seven years war, in fact, it was introduced in 1759 and it was the key to GB success, because french fleets were blockaded and GB could send small fleets with corps to Canada, india, etc. So it could be introduced in a seven years war scenario ...

RE: Ceded provinces and inestability

<t> I dont think so. First. Ceded provinces had their corps. I mean, they had the corps belonging to their major power. Minor countries were all under the influence of some major power. For example, Napoles under Spanish control until late XVIII. You say that ceded provinces suffer the lack of ...

Ceded provinces and inestability

<t> Rules says that when a major power falls into the inestability zone, her conquered minors become neutral (rule 10.5.2.1) if there is no corp inside the minor. Of course, there is a good reason behind this rule. If things go wrong, there are many posibilities that your conquered begin a revolt to ...

RE: Best way to play each power

<t> you're right. For example, EiA rules says that initial fleet strenght marks the number of ships of line or a number of auxiliary ships (frigates) of every power. Well, that´s not true. GB had 100 SOL and maybe 150-200 frigates spread all over the world, Spain had 50-60 SOL and a number like this ...

RE: Best way to play each power

Mmmm. Is your use of Ney llegal?. It surprise me. I think that you control Cirenaica for defence, it´s not really a FS.

BTW, Britain has 19 Inf, and Cirenaica is 1/2, so, if British lost 4 Inf, it will take a whole year to replace the losses.

RE: Entering a Port

yes, but in fact an US frigate could not dominate the sea against a powerful navy. In fact, when napoleonic war ended in 1814 and England could use more ships in american coasts, things were more much difficult. Remember the capture of President frigate.

RE: Entering a Port

I don't think so, I think that they were much in the line of German pocket dreadnoughts, because US frigates in fact couldn't hold the line against european ships, which in fact carry the weight of sea battles.

RE: Biggest German East front mistake

<t> About war production, maybe you´re right in tanks, but not in airforce. German production was increased in an incredible way, but you need time to train an air crew. When the bombardment offensive against Germany in 1944 was launch, german had many fighters, but not many good pilots. I mean, you ...

RE: Biggest German East front mistake

<t> About production. Germany were bigger than England, but England produced in 1940 (Battle of England ) more military material than Germany. Germany was not really doing a war effort until 1943, just when the war was yet on the allies side. If Germany had produced enough PzIV or fighters in 1941 ...

RE: Biggest German East front mistake

<t> I think that simply Hitler was out of reality, and destroyed any rest of controversy in OKW. Some people have said that there were a lack of logistic. Well, German campaigns in the West were very short, not more than three months, and after that time all the vehicles were fully repaired. This ...

I remember a case still better. Russia from Corfu tried to disembark in Corsica and he forgot to disembark the corp twice!. The men from the two lost corps deserved a better leadership, but you know, vodka.

RE: Advanced Naval Rules

<t> They used copper hulls, at least Spanish. In Nelson's opinion, Spanish ships were by far the best designed, much better than British. About short range, it depends more of caliber than other questions, and Royal Navy used to fight at short range, so this is not important. It's more important ...
