RE: Explain supply to me please?

<t> Many thanks <br/>
I didn't really understand the manual about losing and regaining readiness vis-a-vis supply (and am still struggling) but you have encouraged me to experiment and try and work out what is happening. Thanks for your time. The red dots make sense now at least. Oh, when not in ...

Explain supply to me please?

<t> What should I be looking for on my unit detail screen to ensure that the unit is fully fighting fit? What does the little green (or red) square indicate on the playing piece? Is supply an important factor in advancing into Poland - the little Polish tinkers seem to wander about cutting my supply ...

RE: JTCS Unit Viewer

<t> I really like this and hate to put upon you even more but I was wondering how to print out a comparison chart (to save alt+tab - which, coincidentally, I learnt an awful lot about in this forum!) I have tried pressing the Print screen key but that never seems to work for me anyway.<br/>

RE: gunfight at Flavion

<t> Hello everyone!<br/>
<br/>
Whilst I've been grinding out another famous minor defeat you've all been busy leaving posts that make me feel an awful lot better. I think the most telling comment was that a major victory is not actually achievable in every scenario. That makes sense - I'd not ...

RE: gunfight at Flavion

Thank you for the tips and advice Frank. If I can crack this one I think it will set me in good stead for the campaigns. This forum is extremely useful. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to help.

gunfight at Flavion

<r> More like slaughter at Rosee. How are you supposed to take out those Frenchie tanks with your little panzers? This isn't really a thread - just frustration at not being able to live up to Rommel's expectation of me! Has anyone one gained a Major Victory on this one? I keep getting shot to pieces ...

Rising Sun tutorial - where's the write up?

<r> I have found (thanks Juggalo and Hertston) the bootcamp docs but am now searching for the copy from "page 114 of the Rising Sun players guide...." for the Tutorial - Storming Wakde Island. Is there an old pdf Rising Sun Manual somewhere please? <br/>

RE: The Greatest Game I'll Seldom Play

Thank you for highlighting this problem. My question further down about trying to find a paper map was because of this. I agree with you - it cannot be difficult (for someone with the talent of this lot) to make the map graphics scaleable.
Please try.

Is there a CD available?

I keep trying to download SP WaW and fail miserably - normally after about three hours and 135Mbs! The 425Mb target just sits and taunts me.....
Is there someone in Uk who would be able to send me a copy on CD please?
Is it available anywhere commercially?

RE: Korsun Pocket Steal??

<t> David, just as a little bit of feedback - I am sure you do very well with sales (and I am very pleased you do) but myself I can only fork out about 10 pounds a month on games and tend to be very patient. If Highway to the Reich etc were a straight 20 pounds (including VAT) I would buy new from ...

Paper Map please (or download)

<t> I am quite new to this style of game and feel I would benefit from having a paper map to consult with the topographical features marked on it to allow me to plan better. The patch that put the magnifying glass in was priceless but I would love the whole battle map to just be bigger. Us old gits ...

RE: Osprey Books

I got Paul Carells "Hitlers War on Russia Vol 2 (Scorched Earth) from the Library and got a very good take on the battle but equally the build up and aftermath. Recommended.
