RE: Question for Allied players

I keep them intact, I only break them up when I have to send an AP transport in contested waters. then I break a unit up so that it fits on one ship, giving me a better chance not to get spotted.

RE: seafire

<t> thanks a lot for the replies,<br/>

seems a shame that you produce a decent carrier cap plane from june 42, and cant use it before 1945. My fulmar pilots would love to upgrade, and although the range is not so great, it should prove effective in a defensive role.<br/>

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Im playing the long campaign and in june 42 the seafire show up in the production pool. I cant seem to find any unit that upgrades to it though. As far as I know the seafire was the carrier capable version of the spitfire, but all british carrier fighters seem to upgrade to the ...

RE: Does it always go like this??

<t> Maybe I'm an exception, but I care quite a lot for the AAR that Thaynes posted. I think it's the best written and most interesting AAR up to now, although it's against the AI.<br/>

I love this game and spend lots of time on it, but I have to agree that the AI needs a tweeking. I'm not ...

RE: How to get troops into Burma

By sea to Moulamain, Ragoon mostly has a CD unit sitting around (if you play the AI); and that can get quite ugly Moulamin is mostly only lighly defended.

hope it helps

RE: Does splitting HQ give additonal benefit?

as far as I know (from reading the forum) the split unit will only give you the support points it deliveres. You only get the bonus for the main unit.

hope it helps

RE: 1st Game/Air Squadron Replenishment

try dividing the unit. You should receive 3 smaller units. the smaller units seem to have less problems repairing.

RE: Allies Day - Their First Turn

<t> Instead of training I normally check which bases are repeatedly attacked by long range bombers without escort, or with only a few Nates escorting. Thats where I put the fighter groups that are low on experience. Any modern fighter group (Hurricane, Warhahk etc...) gains experience really fast ...

<t> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
as a long time GG pacwar player I downloaded the game on the first day and playing it daily since then. I finally had my first carrier battle and sunk the Akagi while severly trashing Kaga and Zuikaku in the 1942-1946 A Campaign. A very intense experience indeed.<br/>
