Had this problem.

However when I went into Game Options to make an adjustment to the sound and came back out to the main screen I noticed it had also corrected the display.

Give the Game Options a try.

Check your Rules of Engagement. Hold should be Manual only. Free or Tight should work for automatic.

If you look at your attachment example.
Try right clicking in the gray area of the Message Log mini window.
Select Maximize in the popup.

See if that works.

In my game hex 80,110 is a base hex. If you are fighting with your CVs in this hex you may want to read section 7.2.1.13.2 - Aircraft Carriers in a Base Hex.

It looks like the mouseover for ships in the task force screen are no longer working in 1118e anf 1118f. The mouseover use to give info like asw, speed and other helpful info for making a selection.

A guess from back here in MN, I would say it is the USS Carl Vinson CVN-70.

Is the USS Nimitz still there? It should have pulled in on the Aug 9th.

I was having the same problem. The DLL file dated 20 May fixed it.
