RE: off-map TF stuck

In my current game I had more than 1 convoy stuck off map.
I believe manged to resolve the issue by changing the task force type. I think it was Transport to Escort and then back.

RE: Don't see this every day

I just had an S class sub surface against the CVL Ryujo (no escorts!) and engage in a surface battle.
Needless to say the sub took heavy damage - but luckily it may have put 2 torpedoes into the carrier.

I would think that a tank gun shell would follow similar safety principles.<br/>

I had this same error - only Indian commanders available.
Latest patch, Aug. 1942.
I think the carrier was either the Wasp or Hornet in a single carrier TF.

I casually know a Jeopardy 5-time champ (this was when you could win 5 times maximum).
Very bright fellow, an insurance adjuster.
Played many rounds of trivia games versus him. Always a good moment when I beat him :)

<t> Some of my reading indicates that the Germans simply were not comfortable fighting in woods, swamps, etc. because they had no (or very few) areas where they could effectively practice this skill - the forests in Germany being 'new' forests (ie. planted, spaced out, little undergrowth, etc.). As ...

RE: Subs sinking for lack of fuel...

Did this have something to do with setting patrol zones and selecting "Remain on Station" and not "Retirement Allowed"?
Seem to recall seeing similar before, though could just be my bad memory.
I don't see subs sinking in my game other than due to enemy action.
