RE: Too cautious?

<t> To all, thanks for input, it is appreciated. I have read several AAR's to date. I will continue to do so. Pelton, you are significantly further East than I am and I'm on Turn 16 now. I think maybe I wait around too long after I close a pocket. Again, thanks to all. As is usual for me, Matrix ...

RE: does the AI cheat?

<t> One thing I seem to notice, or at least it feels like, the times I have my CAP either on rest or on assignment to another convoy, some convoy without the CAP gets hit. Don't get me wrong, my CAP has been used effectively as well, but I just find it odd that I'll have an unprotected Convoy North ...

I have read 90% of the manual and am ok with most everything. I seem to understand technically how to do things, but I'm having some trouble doing things smartly, or can't quite seem to figure out the tricks of the trade that everyone else is ...

RE: Question on Patches for UV

Thanks all. I had purchased the game (the older boxed version) off of ebay, so it was indeed version 1. I'm all patched up now, appreciate the help.

Question on Patches for UV

<t> Hi all, newbie here to UV. I'm an HttR player and decided to expand my horizons and put some time into the Pac Theatre. I originally wanted to purchase WitP, but I read some posts about playing UV first to bone up before getting that, which is exactly what I'm going to do. [:)]<br/>
