Re: Movement Arrows have Disappeared

I run Webroot, but it will either completely block a program from running or allow it to run. It cannot easily be turned off and, as far as I am aware, hasn't been updated.

Re: Movement Arrows have Disappeared

Thanks for the suggestions. I suspect that this may be unresolvable and may be specific to the hardware/software combination on my NUC (though why it worked for weeks and then suddenly stopped with no obvious cause such as Windows updates etc is a mystery). I would really have preferred to have this...

Re: Movement Arrows have Disappeared

Tried it both ways from Desktop Icon and from File Explorer ... for BOTH the Matrix download/PC and Steam versions.

Made no difference.

Re: Movement Arrows have Disappeared

Yes, the unit(s) move ... and, yes, I get asked if I want to do a group move if more than two are in a hex.

No, the Movement Costs/Numbers do not appear either.

So I am effectively moving blind with no idea of the movement costs or even how far I can move.

Re: Movement Arrows have Disappeared

Nah. These are stock standard installs with nothing changed (I noticed that menu option and it was exactly as shown when I checked it ... ). And it applies to one installed as a Steam game and another installed from a brand new download from Matrix (again, with no changes from stock) ... and THIS wa...

Movement Arrows have Disappeared

A it says. I have been happily playing TOAW IV on my new (NUC) Computer for weeks but, suddenly, the red movement arrows (i.e. showing the movement cost per hex and route) have disappeared. This is on both the Steam version AND a newly re-downloaded Matrix version. I have completely deleted the Stea...

Re: Won't Run Beyond 7 segments Load Screen

Two things - 1) It seems as if it REALLY doesn't like running with other software running uin the background, at least as a Matrix Game. I normally have Serif Affinity Publisher 2 running on a second screen while I am playing games ... no other game I have Steam/Non Steam has any problems with this....

Won't Run Beyond 7 segments Load Screen

I have just purchased the entire Valor & Victory Package and have installed the non-Pacific DLCs using Multi-Setup 1.07.02 and the load screen gets to rthe 7th segment and ... crashes. I have also tried to load the Base Game and then load the DLCs separately. The Base Game loads. And I can add o...

<t> One thing you may not be aware of ... Japanese fleet units often had to refuel in the NEI since their tanker 'fleet' was insufficient to move oil back to Japan (or anywhere else, for that matter - they had always relied on non-Japanese Tankers and had very few of their own, indeed, to ship oil b...
