Marc is 100% correct.

A decent LCD monitor on DVI blows away any CRT. I held onto my CRT for the longest time and then unexpectedly had a Dell 20" widescreen side by side and I realized I was hanging on to the notion that CRT was superior for far too long.

When going through the approval process at Microsoft, wouldn't the Xbox team say "Are you serious?". Even Battlestations Midway is a marketabilty reach on the 360.

Just a small point. Widescreen PC monitors run an aspect ratio of 16:10, not 16:9.

So you want support for resolutions like 1280x800, 1680x1050 or if you are lucky to have a 24"+ widescreen, 1920x1200. [:D]

Seems like some dirty laundry airing in this "new flash". I'm not taking sides, but that's bad business form.
