What Campaign to Start?

<t> There are a number of different campaigns available and I am planning on starting, and hopefully sticking through, my first campaign game. I have played many of the shorter scenarios and am going to give a full campaign a try.<br/>

I will be playing as Germany, other than that nothing is ...

RE: Hopefully simple question

Shellshock,

thank you so much you! Yes, I am using Jison's mod. Love the map, and the game. Of course that would explain why I did not find it in the manual.

Very nice of you to clear this up for me [&o]

Hopefully simple question

<t> I have looked in the manual but cannot find an answer. On the unit marker there is between 1 and 4 hash marks on the left side of the unit symbol? What do those represent?<br/>
<br/>
Also, there is a often a black or white "ball" to the right of the symbol? What does that mean?<br/>

Alright, another purchase. I guess the kids will have to do without this Christmas.

Thanks Wodin for your endorsement, I respect your opinions a lot with regards to games I will enjoy.

RE: My Last AGEOD Game. Period.

I totally agree. I buy almost everything Matrix/Slitherine publish, but this one had me bored to tears. Maybe it is the nature of WW I, or the incredibly dated system, but this was just a waste of money. A store credit would be a good gesture.

RE: PANZER CORPS FOR ANDROID?

Actually I own Panzercorp for the PC, and then just run Splashtop on that machine and the client on my Samsung 10.1 Tab 2. Works great, and no need to buy another copy of the game. There you go, Panzercorp on Android!

Mike,

thanks for the heads up on the right click. I guess I am mousily challenged.

Great product. This will take years to digest.

RE: Early Impressions

<t> This is sure to be a long term keeper. It is very deep and tons of information. I suspect the interface will improve some in future upgrades (not bad know, but some right click functionality on units to give them orders for one). Clearly a premium price, but then this is also a very premium ...

Actually the whole process took 6 minutes on my solid state drive. No problems here.

RE: Status on when the IPAD version comes out

How about an Android version. There are more Android devices out there than the Apple stuff, and within the next couple of years will probably make Apple products obsolete, IMHO. (Jobs is dead,and so is innovation at Apple)

RE: I wish

I like linked, smaller scenarios. Makes me feel more "connected" to the troops somehow. I guess that is one reason I lean towards the tactical scale,albeit this is my favorite game in a long time.

on my android implementation I just set the computer resolution to 1280x800 and then launch Splashtop2, attach a bluetooth mouse to my tablet, and things work great. Yours are my favorite games, and that I can play them at night, without waking up the wife is a special treat ...

Actually I've been running it on my Samsung Android tablet for weeks.&nbsp; Set the computer to the 1280x800 resolution, use Splashtop2, log-in and game from bed.&nbsp; Very great fun, and comfy in those Colorado winter nights.

Really, nobody including the devs knows if, and how, the resolution can be adjusted? I'd appreciate some help with this.

Thanks.

Screen Resolution

<t> I am going through my Matrix games to see which ones I can run via Splashtop to my Samsung 10.1 tablet. I have found quite a few that work, but I am having a little issue with this title, and it's probably my fault. How do I set the game resolution to 1280 by 800?<br/>

Thanks.<br/>

Thank you Liquidsky. I appreciate it. So does the number shown on the counter reflect the integrity adjusted number, or the raw number?

Feeling a little stupid...

<t> ... but I have read the manual and for the life of me cannot figure out what the largest number on a unit counter, the one right below the NATO symbol, means? Is it some sort of combined combat power given units and supply, or what? It's obviously a key number, and somehow I can't figure out ...

<t> Actually I installed Splashtop 2 on my gaming machine, and the client on 10.1 inch Samsung tablet, and now I play DC on the tablet while snuggled next to the wife. Very comfy feeling.<br/>

RE: Time of Fury v1.02 Changelog

<t> IMHO opinion gaming will be moving largely to tablets. It's just more fun and easier, and the processors, memory and video capabilities are improving a dramatic rate.<br/>
<br/>
The days of the $50 game are numbered. High end titles will go for around $10.<br/>
<br/>
Just my 5 cents.<br ...
