Re: John 3rd contact

Is moving from the backcountry to the sticks an upgrade or a downgrade?

Yeah, I was looking for the latest BTS upgrades, but my opponent and I moved out with stock Scenario 2. Thanks all.

John 3rd contact

Anyone have an email for John 3rd they could PM me? I'm looking to start a new PBEM game, and my opponent is very interested in BTS. I PM'ed John but he hasn't been on since the 12th.

Should be 1/3 IIRC .... and yes, this is a VERY powerful tool to use in terms of freeing up units.

The trick with the space was to wall mount the maps and use magnets on the pieces, so no floor space.

Ping pong table overlaid with a couple 4x8 sheets of plywood worked! (Assuming an available basement...) Although we never came close to finishing a campaign.

Some probably-not-very-useful thoughts, but...

Asking for player2 PW and going to save screen sounds like historical first turn was selected. However, that wouldn't explain why it asks your opponent for player2 PW. But...

Have you tried loading the save you sent your opponent on your computer? If ...

Re: Manual update

I current have 7.31.2022 I assume this is a date. In it there's this on monsoon.

12.1.1 Monsoon Season
??????????

So is there another complete later version and if so please make it available outside of the game download.

The one I have is dated 2023-04-28 within the file itself. I recently ...

Re: WitPTracker News

Is there a way to list LCU formations based on the squads they contain? For example I want to upgrade my CMF squads to Aus Inf. A list of all the formations containing the CMF squad would help me locate them to turn on upgrade.

In Devices, select the CMF Inf Section and select Pool History ...

Re: WitPTracker News

It'd be nice to have filters on the base screen for various "stockpile" settings and added supply draw.

And in the summary pane by base, but filter on the list would be handiest so you can periodically check for something that was set for some reason and forgotten.

Re: WitPTracker News

Another big thank you! I'm not sure I'd play PBEM without Tracker.

On the Intel/Sigint screen, if you sort by Details it currently does a literal sort based on unit name, which means a fragment like 3/15th Naval guard doesn't sort with 15th Naval guard or 8/15th Naval guard or whatever. It would be ...

It could delay the allies if they had to take it back, assuming they would have to stop the daily VPs going to Japan while they held it.

No daily VPs for bases. (It would arguably be nice if there were)

So, if you're Allies and have a 1.99 ratio on September 1, 1945, you'd want to be sure to keep under that until the end of the game to get a Decisive Victory (i.e. you'd want to end up between 1.75 and 1.99 in March 1946). You pop the 2.0 ...
