I had this problem because my SCALE setting in SYSTEM/DISPLAY for Windows 11 was set to 125%. I changed the SCALE to 100% and now the game works fine. I run Windows 11 at a high resolution, full screen, and after changing the SCALE to 100% BTR loads/runs fine.

I'm trying to get WITP to work on Win11 widescreen. I can't get widescreen and I can't see the bottom of the screen so I have to use taskmaster to exit game (and start over trying to fix it).

Would Seabee get it to work? I used Seabee a number of years ago, past computers, and don't have it now ...

For me, with display resolution of 2560X1440, the only solution for the blurry text is to go to my display settings and lower by display resolution. Kinda a pain.

It looks like there's no tutorial that comes with this release. Disappointing for new players.

I did a fresh install of the game and the update. I checked the DPI override. But now (even before the DPI setting override) I'm getting an error the instant I try to launch the game: ERROR Can't Set Screen Mode.

Any idea what is causing that?

No, didn't work. I tried also to run the original version of the game on this computer...hangs on opening screen. And again tried with the new patch...hangs on opening screen, although the resolution makes the opening screen too large for my monitor.

I moved to a new computer and re-downloaded the game and the new patch. It had worked okay on my old computer. Now, though, it won’t load past the opening artwork screen.
I’m using windows 11 with 2560x1440 resolution. I’ve changed the video folder to no_video.
