Yeah, the manual leaves much to be desired, but I did finally get the game to run (no crashes so far!). It looks to be an updated Alpha Centauri...jury's still out if it's awesome. It's certainly decent so far, but it's tough to follow a Sid Meier design and not have at least a decent game.

I have Avast, and can't get it to run...says Problem with the updater.

Can I get a clue how to disable Avast to see if that's the issue?

It seems like I've seen a reference or two to a Titan database, where they're upgraded to slightly better versions.

Hmmm....by hitting F4, I see my message detail is set to 'high'...there's no 'all' setting.
