Critical hits?

When I first got the game, I had a mech with meson guns...he'd score critical hits (eg, gyro hit, or heat system hit, etc), and I'd get notification of such damage.

Now, it's quite possible to score critical hits with other weapons, but, except for ammo explosions, I never, ever, get critical hit notices.

Is there any way to get them? I dunno if I hit a switch or something, but I rather like tracking the destruction of enemy mechs in all the glorious detail.

Check your 'message detail' status, F4 or in the CC's Options section. 'All' will get you all messages, including crits.

Hmmm....by hitting F4, I see my message detail is set to 'high'...there's no 'all' setting.

What's the CC and where can I find it?

1. Set message detail to max. If there is no max you are not running v1.2.1
2. Only meson crits are displayed, other crits are not.
3. CC is the control center. Check options -> message detail
