<t> John,<br/>
<br/>
you are absolutely correct. The use, or lack there of, of AOs is a horrible oversight on me. I am not using a single one of these like I should. Perhaps this is the catalyst that will get me to use them more. As a side note, I was reading just the other day about how you can ...

<t> So,<br/>

I have had the game for almost 4 years or so and have played numerous Allied campaigns. However, I had not played in over a year and decided that it was time to get back into it. I have never tried Japan because I can't balance my own checkbook and figured that a national ...

Ruining the Game

<t> I hate to sound like a downer or anything but I need some serious help. The fighter bug for the German campaign is seriously degrading my enjoyment of the game. I have seen in several posts how this is supposed to be fixed, but even by moving the renduveax back and yet I still have issues. I ...

<t> Hi Floyd,<br/>
<br/>
I, too, have just downloaded this tool and I believe that it is going to be the very thing to help me get a grasp on the entire strategic scope of the War in the Pacific. I am decent on the tactical side, but have struggled with the other 99% of this game. I am all ready ...

<t> John,<br/>

Just another lurker here. Wanted to say that this AAR has been very enjoyable to read. However, I have learned two very important things while reading. Although I consider myself a decent tactical guy, I realize that playing in a PBEM throws that all out the window. Some of ...

MOD info

<t> Ia m not sure if this is the right place for this, but I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of the different mods for WITP. I have seen mention and some comment on the mods in the AAR forum etc, but I was wondering if there was a detailed resource out there some where...<br ...

RE: First Impressions

Joe,

I, too, think that the manuak is great. It was just in that area that I felt it was lacking. Also, I wish there would have been a section PBEM. However, when the time comes to play that way, I am sure my opponent will tell me how to get the turn to him and vice versa..

<t> As a casual Matrix customer, I happened on this game a few days ago. I own Forge of Freedom, but had not played it in awhile. I love the history of the ACW and so wanted to take a look at this game. I have been reading the various threads and even printed the manual off at work to read over the ...

<t> I don't have any screen shots or anything. The battle was between the Federal Department of NE Virgina and an Army commanded by Lee. They were winning the battle, but my 3 brigades of artillery were chewing them up. So, I fell back behind the river to try and cause more casualties as they ...

<t> I did a search and did not find this on the forum. So, I hope I am not repeating something. In a recent battle in Fredricksburg. I defeated a large rebel force. This is not to brag only to point out why I won. Several rebel troops fired on each other! This happened numerous times and amounted to ...

RE: Battleground Europe Info

<r> I have now played 2 nights in a row, thanks to the kindness of my wife of course, and I love what has been done to the game. To clarify my earlier comment, I loved the game back in 2002, but I had dial up and it was unable to handle the needs of the game. My computer still struggles in some ...
