RE: The first blows!

Let me be the first to congratulate you on this glorious day for the Empire of the Rising Sun [&o]

Now, time to finish off the Allied invaders of Java: hammer his damaged CVs and CAs like there's no tomorrow, and the blasted Americans will sue for peace in no time [:D]

Can't ... stand ... the ... suspense !

With the battles for India and now Java reaching their crux at roughly the same time, I'm checking both your AAR's hourly to watch the newest developments. Good luck, and thanks to you both for a tremendous AAR [&o]

RE: Invasion force attacked

ORIGINAL: String
Actually KB isn't intact. Hiryu and Soryu lie in the bottom of the sea somewhere between canton and fiji iirc.

You're right, String ... so KB only has 4 out of 6 original fleet carriers

RE: 12/10/1942

Fascinating AAR and concept: being able to see a player's detailled plans and then look at how they suffer the test of reality is just awesome, kind of a cross between a military history book and an advanced tutorial for wannabe (or newbie) players. This is just awesome, keep it coming!

RE: Chandpur and Imphal falls!!

Like we say in french: "Je suis pendu à tes lèvres!" (literally I'm hanging by your lips, meaning I'm fascinated by your story). [8D]

I wish you both could play 10 turns a day, so I'd know what will happen in the next month or two [;)] ... keep up the good work!

RE: A Merchant Raider TF

<t> Excuse me for interfering, but I think the question at start was asked from the Japanese point of view, i.e. to use Jap CL's vs. Allied shipping from West Coast to Australia.<br/>
<br/>
So, in that case, if you play 'historical' with japanese sub doctrine, the subs will almost never attack the ...
