<t> I see a publishing partnership with Paradox to be a good thing for MMG. <br/>

Out of the niche strategy publishers (Paradox, Matrix, Shrapnel, Battlefront, ect. . .) Paradox probably has the broadest retail coverage in North America. If MMG's goal is a traditional 'retail release' rather ...

<t> I picked up the game a few weeks ago and have been playing off and on with the Michigan-Ohio-Indiana scenario. I just finished my first game of WaW. I played the Axis and got beat down by the allies and soviets by the end of 45.

Just remove the manual and then sell the retail cd to your friend. The retail cd comes with .pdf and .doc copies of the manual so your friend should be all set.

RE: World at War on Console?

<t> I could see there being a market for a game like WaW on Xbox live. Waw itself might not be a great choice since it seems built for PBEM instead of network play. However, if someone made a game similiar in feel to WaW but with a WEGO system to lessen downtime, it might have a shot. <br/>

RE: Retail Release

I have not even bothered to call a retailer yet. Experience has taught me that Ebgames/Gamestop/Bestbuy/Ect never make their projected release dates for niche computer games.

It is better to save your energy and start inquiring about the game 3-7 days after the release date.

At the moment (without the opening video), the game is about 320 MB zipped. I don't what else Matrix will add to the download, but this gives you an idea.

Thanks for the info.
