Nope - reinstalling 1.04 didn't work - still no sound

I have just had to reinstall WitP following a computer crash, when I install the vanilla version from the disc (1.21) everything works fine, as soon as I patch it (1.804) I lose all the sound[&:] Any suggestions anyone?

AE slows my PC down too much, so I've stuck with WitP

My personal preference would be to get them to pearl to shave a few points off their sys and increase their speed then ship them to SF for completion

Possibly an irritating question for Jason, but it has been stated that MW will cover Middle East and Vietnam conflicts. Will it be flexible enough to allow modders to create Western Europe scenarios - cold war etc? Fulda Gap comes to mind.........
