How do you know how you are doing as the axis in the BOA?

For instance: how many MM would you need to sink by 1/1/41 in order to be pressuring the UK?

I cannot figure out what are the rules of movement after invasion.
Sometimes I cannot move at all.
Sometimes I can move two paces or one. Sometimes I can attack, sometimes I cant.
Does it depend on the beach hex? Is it half beach or less than that?

So baciscally how can I tell from looking on ...

but if i never invade norway, there will be no interuption?

i tried, lost a surface ship, then had my german division sunk

if the UK puts a full corps in Narvik, what would it take to get them out?

if i'm using surface raiders and they run out of fuel but get intercepted on the way home, are they more likely to be caught? sustain casualties?

E.g. there are two event that seem to be contradicting each other:

"Norwegian merchant marine couldn't escape to the UK through the German blockade of the Baltic Sea. Germany gains 7 merchant marine."

"The UK concludes a lease agreement for Norwegian tankers 20 are added to the UK merchant ...

Surface fleet can move into a hex held by enemy subs if they are in surface mode


Subs get first strike

Fleet takes damage, then fires

Fleet DISPLACES sub, sub subsequently suffers a penalty and is more vulnerable the remainder of the turn ...

to my recollection, DOW on spain has no impact on US entry. only aggression vs UK impacts USA entry(and PP i think)
