Sorry for the Noob question. When you have flak values showing in the map, there are 2 figures shown, i.e 1-0, 1-2 or even 0-0. What do the numbers mean? I'm assuming its the strength of the flak at various levels but I can't find it anywhere in the manual or via a forum search.

You are trying to exterminate a vast country of hundreds of millions of people. I'm sure a few of them will try to get in your way.....One thing the soviets were never short of was people...

I've only just got this game too, so I might be wrong. Your units suffer attrition losses when they are next to enemy units. This probably accounts for the casualties.
