Number of sorties per fighter plane per day

Post by lenin »

Hi there. Noob thread. Just assume I want to manage the air war on turn 1. I want to maximise the amounts of escorted raids on soviet airfields as possible. How many AD's will each fighter group be able to participate in. There are about 138 fighters in Fliegerkorps 1. Do I need to equally divide them on each bombing AD or can I assign them all to each one? How many AD's can I set up in this fashion Not satisfied with the 2-300 losses for the axis on Turn 1 and want to tweak it a bit. Read the manual as much as I can, but its 500+ pages and can't find the answer I want. In essence, how many sorties can I expect each fighter to fly on day 1?

It hasn't been a problem in my tests.
Meaning, hit as many airfields you can with escorts on only D1, but only 1 strike per airfield, and not only will your fighters keep up, but will still have enough miles to intercept soviet T1 ground support and net you an extra 1k casualties on air to air.
