RE: Playing the Axis

<r> What I have picked up is that if you don't want to run out of steam in '42 as the Axis then you need to have a very good '41. With that, I would recommend you read the some of these:<br/>

Question about Soviet Corps formations

<t> I was reading through Colossus Reborn (Glantz) about Artillery Corps and this brought a few questions to mind:<br/>
<br/>
1. Why doesn't the Soviet player get to make Artillery Corps? And if they did.. would they represented with a separate HQ, or would the Artillery Divisions combine into 1 ...

RE: Gnikam eht ni retsasid - Oloren USSR, Terje Axis, No Oloren

<r> Those "Tanks and self-propelled guns" numbers look funny to me. Just from a quick search on production numbers of tanks/afvs, it seems like you are listing a total per year for the Soviets and a running total for the Germans. <br/>

Some things to start with:

1. Exclude game directories in your AntiVirus software.
2. Update video and sound drivers to latest.

He looks to have many regiments and I assume this was done to take advantage of the Reserve rules. Could you provide some details on how many battles you are seeing him trigger Reserves and how much this is affecting your overall plans? Thanks!

RE: So...sell me on this..:-)

<r> I agree there needs to be some compromise here, whether its half or even just a better system of letting the player choose withdrawals. I just don't think its going to be done in this WiTE version however, especially since its easily modified in the editor. <br/>

RE: Axis '41 HQ Buildup graphical aid

<t> I see a few problems with doing that.<br/>
<br/>
1. What if the HQ doesn't have enough points to simulate the move. Then you have to simulate as much as possible, then calculate manually the rest of the most optimum route.<br/>
<br/>
2. You need to clear the enemy forces with your panzers ...

Axis '41 HQ Buildup graphical aid

<r> Maximizing your HQBUs in the '41 seems to be one of most important keys to Axis success. It took me a lot of trial and error in the first few Axis turns to determine exactly where to place my panzer HQ's so that they would be in the Hex and MP limit, the following turn. Does anyone else feel ...

RE: Leningrad

<t> Correct. In WiTE there are no limits on the amount of supplies per rail line (supposedly there will be in WiTW). So by the time you are taking Leningrad, your one rail line is already close enough to provide all the supplies that are needed to AGN, which means the Baltic Sea thing doesn't really ...
