Re: Excessive Losses?

Since the latest update I have noticed that the Luftwaffe night fighters are achieving both increased contacts and more victories per contact. Contact is made regularly in pairs and about 75% of contact results in a victory. I am in early January 1944 and I would suggest that the Luftwaffe results ...

Will do, I had a quick look and I think they are a bit dodgy as far as Allied LCU setup goes, its a start though.

Re: Shuttle Problems

I wasnt aware shuttle missions were an option in ED, I dont believe they work in BTR even though they are an option. To relocate need to view the unit and select MOVE, I believe it can only go to a base managed by the same Luflotte/Command.

Re: No Aircraft in 1920 and 1935 Starts - 1.01.22

I also tried the 1935 start for the UK, as mentioned some nations have up to 18 aircraft, when I try the airgroups tab you have all of the CV and airbases with aircraft allocated but zero on hand, the aircraft types tab is blank. On the airgroups screen it mentions floatplanes on ships which aligns ...

I've just stated a new game as the USA and, according to the almanac, no country has any aircraft.

Re: Advice Needed: Port Moresby

IMVHO, Pt Moresby isnt vital, it can provide the japanese player with a large airfield but there isnt a lot in Nth Qld that they can hit. Basically all supply have to come via sea through the Coral Sea so its a good place for subs to interdict them. Long term I believe Milne Bay and the nearby ...

Re: Playing on Ver 1.06.47b

Its interesting how different players have different experiences. I only pay the Allies so I don't know exactly what happens. My Baltimore's do not appear to be any better than the Bostons, B25 & B26's in the Med. They also don't face a lot of defenders over Italy I also cant see that 4 x .303 are ...

Re: Bug on the Allies side and bug on the Axis side

There is too much reliance on all of the interactions taking place in a vacuum.

Maybe the Radar was being interfered with, or having problems in a system only a few years old, dont forget its not the well developed systems of the 21st century.

Europe is renowned for its clouds, maybe there were ...

Re: An Observation, Total Aircraft numbers.

There are half a dozen options, but in Autumn, Winter 1943 you do not have enough long range fighters to achieve them.
So it plug away, try to create attrition and keep your points rising until the P51 & longer ranged P47 arrive, plus 15AF can start hitting those Southern Germany and Austrian ...

Thanks Guys, I have been mulling over this for a few weeks, and as I typed the thread thought of the answer.

So now the plan is to kill aircraft in the air and on the ground!

An Observation, Total Aircraft numbers.

Gday, I'm a numbers man and in lieu of having a "Tracker" type program I capture the daily numbers from the Campaign Summary.

Firstly, I assume they are accurate and not subject to Fog of War.

Playing the latest patches through 50ish days I have found many occasions where the Total Aircraft ...
