Shuttle Problems

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Shuttle Problems

Post by FritztheMoose »

I am completely new. Just played around a bit with Eagle Day as Axis got an idea of the game and to try things. It seems that shuttle missions are not working at all for me (did not find something bout it when searching). I want to do some shuttle missions to relocate some air units. When i do one I can pick the shuttle airfield and the red line indicates it. But when I watch it there are no aircraft on the screen. I do see the square boxes and get the message whats happening but no aircraft visible. I also get the messages from all over the place. If I do a bombing mission on dover with a KG that is currently on different airfields and I plan to shuttle them to 1 airfield I get messages that 1 was shot down all over the map. Midlands Scotland pretty much anywhere. Also after the mission they return to their original fields and not the indicated shuttle one. Is there a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

I wasnt aware shuttle missions were an option in ED, I dont believe they work in BTR even though they are an option. To relocate need to view the unit and select MOVE, I believe it can only go to a base managed by the same Luflotte/Command.

I worked out the bugs with the shuttles a few patches ago, but acknowledging here that they are bugged again. I'll get this fixed.
