RE: BootCamp 2

<t> I ended up with a -1. I repelled the assault and ended up destroying all the attackers. My artillery never made it to the firebase. I thought I was taking a shortcut but my convoy got stuck and had to turn around.<br/>

Impressed

<t> I just bought this yesterday and played the Introductory Scenario. I am very impressed by the level of detail, and the elegance and simplicity of the system. I wished I picked this up sooner. I am a big fan of this theater of war, and this is one of the best games I have played on the topic.<br ...

Covered Arc/Dropped Ordnance

<t> I love this game. It brings back memories of playing Squad Leader in the early 80s.<br/>

JSGME

<t> I am able to activate and deactivate the ASL Mods through JSGME. The only way I have been able to activate the Colorfull Mod is by backing up and then overwriting the Terrain file in the Graphics folder. If I put the Terrain file in my MOD folder is does not appear in my list of Mods when I load ...

RE: 1.0.52 update has been posted - quick fix

I know before you update the game you need to deactivate your mods with JGMSE, and put the game back to stock. Do I need to remove all third party scenarios from my scenario folder also?

Thanks.

Replacements

I know that planes refuel at airfields. Do naval units have to be refueled at ports? Also, are air units and naval units eligible for replacements?

RE: This looks like a swell game, Why no activity?

<t> I have been playing wargames on the PC for a real long time, and this game is one of the best I have played. The early war focus of the game is not as popular as other mainstays---Russia, Normandy, Market Garden, Bulge, etc. so that could be one of the reasons for a lack of buzz. Plus, WITE is ...

RE: WtP or WiTE

I bought it last night. You have to love a game where you can play a tutorial, and then jump right it to play. I will study the manual, but everything was pretty intuitive. I was very impressed. I am looking forward to digging into this game.

RE: WtP or WiTE

I appreciate your input. I have to keep the blonde at home happy so I can't buy both at the same time [:-] (which is what I want to do). I think I will purchase WtP first and then wait a little while to purchase WiTE.

WtP or WiTE

I am about the pull the trigger on purchasing either WtP or WiTE. Subject matter is not an issue here. Both games interest me. If anyone has played both games and can throw out their opinion, I would appreciate it.

RE: Brilliant Game!

<t> I picked this game up after reading some positive posts in the forum and I am pleasantly blown away. You have to love a game that you can pick up intuitively without reading 100 pages of rules. I am a long time Squad Battles and Close Combat player so I have seen my share of tactical games. BA ...

<t> I am about to purchase Puresim. I have been playing the demo for a while. In a multiplayer league do you manage against the other teams or Quick Sim through the games.
