Hmm. Not my experience. The only time i've played Japan vs the AI, Germany had no problem defeating russia. Of course, it may have helped that i took Kazan and Caucasus a few turns before Germany took Moscow.<br/>

RE: German vs Soviet AI

<t> If the German AI beats the soviets IN ANY scenario, i would be SHOCKED!!! imo the German AI is a complete joke.......The German AI use of the Navy in the Med. is absolutely silly. The German AI attacking Russia is the same damn outcome EVERYTIME(attack, attack, attack....run out of space and ...

Russia hanging up after defeated...

<t> This is a issue that happens after Russia is defeated(completely off the map). When the game comes to its turn(ai) it just sits there (apparently thinking) for like over a minute, then game moves to next player. This is something i have dicussed with Joel briefly already, and he said its being ...

RE: free play for the ussr

<t> It could work using PBEM or HOPEFULLY TCIP/IP(in near future) with multiplay, as i am in process of setting this up. I have map done(i think, still need to do a lil more research on it) and setting up the units is all thats left. However playing this scenario out against the AI, just won't work ...

Gary has already been working on some of these issues. Some may be too hard to fix without "breaking" other things. Keep reporting AI issues as we do read these posts and take note. If you have saves of particularly bad behavior, you can ...

Well im happy your not having the issues i'm having. I am curious though, as you say your in 1949, and the AI is doing "fine". What side are you playing, and what are the game preferences and game options set at??

overall it sounds like you really strecthed the AI past what it was meant to play. it sound like you turned autovictory off and set no-end date. I think the AI will play fairly well within a game that has a 1946 end date, but ...

Why does the German AI constantly move its Subs to sea and leave them there. This is particular evident in their first turn moves (which seem pretty standard every game). Once Sub goes to the North Sea, one to the Norwegian Sea, and 2 in ...

Auto Victory off

<t> I have played like 5 games now with auto victory off, and no end date. I play as Japan, and let the A.I. play as Germany. Its basically the same situation everytime, by 1945 going into 1946. The Germans have surrounded Moscow and have them cut off, and i have moved into the mainland to meet the ...
