Thanks for the reply:-).

I do use only one pwhex.dat from this set of files, but what I really want to know with kates, is this an RHS error installation or is it normal for them in RHS for historical first turn to carry only bombs.

Hi

The same problem with Fatal Error 300 thing. Re-installed the game from scratch, the same. May be this is about the way I upgrade? I patch to 1.6 comprehensive, then 1.8 update, then 1.8.0.2. Is this valid?

Hi

Check the Andrew's documentation provided with his map. There's FAQ part where he mension this case.
You got to replace the file pwhex.dat in the root WitP folder with the one that he place in ART\Maps_Modified_v.. folder
