CHS with extended map

Post by Roger Neilson »

Trying this out for the first time guys and a few issues I'd appreciate advice upon - playing as allies against AI Jap just to try it out, long campaign.
1. Some ports I click on like Rangoon sometimes report I cannaot route a Tf there... map seems to think its purely a land hex?
2. Some Transport TFs do not have the load options available?
3. Some overland march orders are coming up with 'cannot trace a supply...'

Have I not got the map installed correctly? It looks right on the display.

Don't know if the AI is smart enough, but in PBEM the player will stack his subs in the off map routes.

I thought AB was going to make these shallow, but he didn't.[:@]
Because they are deep water, subs are more than just deadly when sited there.

So keep plenty of escorts for your ships arriving from these off map locations.

Hi

Check the Andrew's documentation provided with his map. There's FAQ part where he mension this case.
You got to replace the file pwhex.dat in the root WitP folder with the one that he place in ART\Maps_Modified_v.. folder

Good luck,

Alex.
