RE: Update Plans

So...I've been holding off playing the game waiting for the patch. I've been checking the site everyday looking for the patch. It's now Thursday, will we be getting the patch today? Thanks in advance.

pdf manual available online?

<t> I just purchased Crowns online but I am at work and the work computers do not allow any executables to be run. Therefore, I cannot install the game resulting in no access to the manual. Anybody know if the manual is online so that I may print it before leaving work?<br/>

RE: Consider This Game

Bought the game a few days ago. Just want to add that this game is fun and addictive. I also liked how they put some effort into the graphics, because good graphics in a game are important to me. Easy to get into, good graphics, sound, turn based, and good price point.

RE: Extremely Disapointed

<t> fyi, I was able to scare up a laptop with a burner and access to high speed internet. I downloaded, burned and successfully installed the game. Thanks for all the support! TheHellPatrol,

Yeah, I saw the installation of .NET and I did select it. Strange that .NET installed fine, it's just the game files that don't install.

RE: Extremely Disapointed

Thanks for the response. No virus scanner or firewalls running. The only thing remotely related would be a pop-up blocker, but since I'm not connected to the Net while installing that shouldn't be an issue.

Actually I did use Star Downloader and it appeared to go through successfully. I got no errors while downloading using Star and the file is the correct size, the installer just gives constant decompression errors when attempting the install. It installs Microsft .Net and the ...

Extremely Disapointed

<t> I normally hate purchasing download only games as it is a real pain to reliably download 200MB+ files and not have any problems. Well,, this game looked different enough to give a try. I tied up my computer and phone for the last 24hrs to download the game. Now during installation it gives me ...

RE: Please don't waste development time on TCPIP/LAN addon

Full agreement with jpinard. This type of game is meant for single player and the base of single player customers is way larger than multi-player for this type of game. Resources would be better spent improving the ai, fixing bugs and adding additional features to improve base gameplay.
