RE: Patch speed up

The patch now allows me to scroll across the USSR with no map distortion or blurring. High resolution setting still automatically retained. Have had no hardware problems with GGWAW in the week I've been playing. Works smoothly, flawlessly on my 2 yr old machine with 512MB RAM.

Unresolved Battle Bug file attached

Here's the attached file. Had to rename .zip to .txt - not clear in Forum help that you have to do this.

Unresolved Japan Attack Outside Of Japan's Turn

<t> The attached zip has the sav and 2 dat files showing an unresolved Japanese attack of Chinese forces in USSR's movement turn. A Japanese fighter is attacking Chinese units in Chunking. The unresolved battle can be initiated during China's movement turn. It results in 6 Chinese militia appearing ...

RE: Page 116 Index Incorrect

<t> Heh,Heh,guess I'm of the ol' board wargaming school where if you did not have the Rules memorized, you'd face real physical violence from your human opponent! Other than the problem with the one page, the GGWAW manual is highly recommended read. Love the WW2 boxed anecdotes and pictures - even ...

RE: Page 116 Index Incorrect

Surprised I'm the only person to mention it! Am I the only one reading the manual? Miss having an index - using the front Table of Contents too inaccurate and time-wasting thumbing thru pages.

RE: Requirements Review

<t> I must admit I was nervous before I bought the game on Fri. after reading the problems some people have. I'm glad I overcame my fears as it performs perfectly out of the box with no adjustments at all.<br/>

Page 116 Index Incorrect

The back Index in both formats is totally incorrect. e.g. Advanced Supply on pg. 89 NOT 74; Air Combat on 74 NOT 60. Are you going to issue an amended Index on a pdf?

RE: Where and When to Get World At War

<t> Kudos to Matrix Games and 2BY3 for distributing World At War at retailers. Being of the demographic which shuns online money transactions due to security, currency exchange and poor Canada Post delivery hassles, I am overjoyed when I can obtain a wargame at a local store. I would buy your entire ...

RE: Where and When to Get World At War

Agree with your comments about Wall Mart! Wargamers should support EBgames instead!

RE: Where and When to Get World At War

<t> Got mine yesterday at EBgames (N.Queen, Toronto). It was the one and only copy the store had shipped in as it did not want to overstock "niche" items! Other 4 local EBgames also probably only stocked 1 copy each (Toronto/Mississauga border). Local Walmart(Canada) store did not have it stocked ...
