2) It seems to be fixed at 1024x768. Seems to be 'Full Screen', if there's a way to do it 'windowed', I haven't found it

I usually try to keep at least one fleet near my merchants (either in the same zone as or an adjacent one).

Have you tried giving your fleet(s) "Intercept Orders" ? I don't think I've tried it with ships belonging to nations that I'm at peace with.

what I've found that is if there is something else up on the screen when you start the game (like a 'window' or AIM for example), you can't "ALT-TAB" out of it. Make sure everything else is minimized (and not selected) when you start up the game, and then try. It should work.

Just started a battle with me as Prussia, Britain (Allies) against France. I'll get some screens up in a few
