I was beta tester, and before installing the official game instead of properly uninstalling Rtw3 Beta (187 IIRC) I just deleted it before realizing the error. Neither undelete nor other solutions worked. I even tried CCCleaner. Still to no avail. Launcher/installer still does not work saying I ...

KB and his BBs cannot be everywhere. Try to protect places where you can gather sufficient strength. Use the vast spaces in SRA. just my two cents.

IIRC the landing bonus lasts only till may 1942 or so.

I know someone who is urging someone [;)] to make a GC May 1942 for AE. NOW that would be fun! Dec 1941 - May 1942 is VERY frustraing for the allies. As is from mid 1943 for the japanese players.

Yes. It is a common complaint.

It's nappy, it has the best diplomacy engine in any grognard game, and a tactical engine which was the best of its kind in 2009. Do you like good ol' Boney? Then it is your game. I don't say it can't be better but currently it is by far the best grand strategy Nappy game.
