connecting error

HI,
Strategic Command War in Europe WW2
I cannot connect to the PBEM games now. The message says " connecting" but it never connects. My internet is working fine.
Please tell me what i can do

i get a pbem++ server communication error when i try and start pbem game...

I did both the steam and game updates successfully .. what else do i need to do to get pbem back up and running?
