RE: Have I missed something? No new version?

Thanks for setting the record straight guys, I just didn't know what was going on. I guess it's good that with this type of game there's really no need for yearly updates like Mogul and OOTP.

Have I missed something? No new version?

<t> Have I missed something Puresim development? I have been keeping updated with the CE releases and thank Shaun for the updates. But, what's the deal with the game? Is there a new version in the works for next season?<br/>

RE: Question for Shaun re future of pbp

<t> I don't care about PBP, I never look at it much.&nbsp; Reading PBP just slows the game down for me.&nbsp; I glance at it some but making it more verbose would be a waste of time.&nbsp; It would be good if it could be made editable for those that care about it, but for me its nice but not ...

Ok, I was wrong about it working in Vista. I actually tried playing a manual game and the game hung with a DirectX error.

Vista Support for PureSim 2007

Just in case anyone would like to know, Puresim works under Vista using WinXP SP2 compatibility. I did get a Direct X error though, but so far no crashes.

RE: is $ ever an issue

I asked the same question when I first purchased the game. After a couple of seasons money will definitely become a concern :) You will notice salaries of even mediocre pitchers rising, as they do in real life. I believe my league is accurate.

What we have now are ratings that flucuate throughout the season. Is that good? Does a hitters strength flucuate throughout a season? Is what we have now a way to glean hidden ratings? If I have a ...

RE: PureSim is on a roll / PureSim 2008 brainstorming thread!

<t> I especially like warming up pitchers... I just hope the features don't overwhelm the simplicity of PureSim. The myriad of options really turned me off from OOTP. There is a such thing as too much information, I wouldn't be gunning for OOTP's audience. They seem to be going the way of ...
