It's like a bad dream. Only a year ago, the threats of the Reich seemed surreal and unimaginable. Now, the world is aflame. Life has turned upside down, and the scar of evil has cut its way across Europe right through to the Middle East. The world looks on as Britain stumbles.

God save the King.

Germany - Fall 1940
In a stunning display of military might, Germany violates Turkish neutrality, swiftly overrunning the country with light casualities, using the now-famous combined-arms tactics of the blitzkrieg. German diplomats reassure Stalin, claiming the operation was merely aimed at "Securing strategic tourist facilities aroud Antalya, our troops need some R&R".

Comrade Stalin is appalled with this obvious aggression against the SU... He still cannot belive that this information is correct... He demands to look the info him self! And then he will take measures for the iminnent war that is upon us...
First he has shot the messenger[:@], then comely walked to the cabinet, where he pulled up Votka...[:'(]
No, that cannot be true... Germans are our friends... For now, and then when we don´t need them... Then we will dispouse of them! But not yet... Yes, that is wright... mmmm this votka is good... [:)]

SU- fall ´40. It is indeed grim picture... Su expekts war with Germany at spring ´41 (even winter ´41 is not excluded!). And Japs are puting additional infantry in Manchuria so double trouble is possible...
With massive German industry, it will be very hard to avoid AV.

Here is some scary numbers (look at those panzers!!!)[X(]

Dobeln - Winter 41
German forces conduct extensive winter maneuvers. Hr. Fritz Fritzmann of the department of propaganda states in a press release:

"Operation Red Dawn" is aimed at safeguarding peace and stability on the eastern border of the Reich - English propaganda regarding a planned "invasion" of the Soviet Union must be discounted as a failed attempt to break the friendship between the Soviet Union and Germany".

SU fatories are working doubletime, but I fear it would not be enough... Wast armies of soon to be foes are gathering on bouth, east and west borders!
To my ally : HELP![:(] [:D]

As enemy has thrown most of units east, the west borders are lightly defended, maybe my ally will see that as invitation to visit those areas [:)]

Let the slaughter begins!

The political climate in the west does will not tolerate provision of aid to a neutral nation. Certainly there are indications that Russia is feeling an ominous build of forces in the far east....

Dobeln - Spring 1941

After a series of unbearable provocations, the German Reich has embarked on a crusade to cleanse the world from Bolsjevism. With armored spearheads striking into the center and south of Russia, the Italian navy has cleared the Bosphorus, and is now providing crucial support to the army group attacking the Caucasus via Turkey.

Although the OKW does acknowledge some casualties during the initial phase of the invasion, "everyzing iz going akording to ze plan".

Spring of 1941 has come, and spring has turned to summer, as more and more mothers around the globe cling to the memories of their sons.

The unspeakable aggression of the Axis powers against Britain's Ally Russia could not go without some response. Despite Britain's inability to muster any more than a token force, a small flotilla did manage to bring a few poorly trained militia and fewer still inexperienced infantry to the shores of of Holland. Despite horrible casualties, a weary few still cling precariously to the hostile edges of a once graceful European continent.

Hope is desperate, and a terrible counter attack is inevitable. Still, the spirit of the Allies refuses to wane. Upon Mother Russia, besieged on all sides, hangs the fate of the free world.

I must apologies for the late AAR, I just didn´t had the time yesterday evening... I barely had time to play my move and send it... I hoped that Dahnyul wouldn´t be so quick ;-)
Spring ´41
EMMM. I meant to say: Comrad Stalin is a little tired (read screaming his head of to officers), but now he has some time to addres the world...
That what we have feared has happened.. Unheard agression from the east&west has commence, we lost ground everywhere... And I fear will continue to do so next year or so... SU troops put out the formidable struggle against unpossible odds, but I assure them that will struggle is yet to come. We will drove of the foreign aggressor´s as we did before in our past...
SU WILL NOT FALL!

I must say thank´s to comrade Churchill for the great and speedy help, he has provided us with... He acted in a true communist spirit!

Germany played by Dobeln - Summer 1941

In a dastardly move, the Allies invade the netherlands, gaining a foothold that threatens all of Western Europe. In a fit of rage, Adolf Hitler replaces the commander of western forces. It is decided that pressure must be put on the beaches - all the available fighter and bomber resources of the Reich pound airfields within the allied beachhead. This is followed up with an all-out frontal assault on the Allied perimiter.

To the surprise of OKW, the allied defense crumbles, and the Allies are forced to evacuate their forces across the channel in a humiliating repeat of Dunkirk.

This in turn means that operation "Kartoffelkanone", the emergency plan for rapid transfer of major armor formations from the east, is hastily cancelled. Instead, the planned assault on Stalingrad and Rostov proceeds as planned, while only minor units board the trains to France.

Also, with heavy air support from Luftflotte 4, Italian forces respond to the dastardly violation of Persian neutrality.

Current situation map:

SU/China turn... Nothing much, sunk Gerrys transport in North sea, retaken Northern Persia, and moved some troops/supplies... Trying desperatly to hold ground.
Japan is awfully quiet... It looks like he is going for the Pearl/India/Australia maybe even the USA!
This is the current situation...

My mother told me Supreme Allied Commander sounded like a crappy job. I should've gone to seminary like she said! Aerial assaults on French rail-lines yields no results.

Well, the re-enactment of Dunkirk didn't work out so good.
