AARs

In an effort to easily keep track of the progress of each game I am going to create a thread in the AAR section for each game and each player will be required to post in the thread everytime they E-mail a turn.

They will post minimum:
1) the World Power they are playing
2) the game date they just played
3) the player they have sent the E-mail to

This is required and each time a player fails to do so will cost him 1pt off his individual score.

Optional per post:
1) One screenshot
2) A description of the turn

For each post that contains these optional items the player will be awarded 1/4 pt on his individual score. Thats 1 pt for each game year or about 6 pts for a game up to 1946 and even more if the game goes into East vs West.

The emporor welcomes Foochow to the empire. Most of the populace is very welcoming, however a few insurgents cause minor casulties. Otherwise minor force realignments are made. File emailed to Kondor.

Germany - Fall 1939.

In an incredible display of daring, Germany hurls itself at the Maginot line in a frontal assault, the OKW having deduced that French forces were relatively thin on the ground (16 units), keeping much of their force in the northwest, in anticipation of a move through Belgium and Luxembourg. The battle was fierce, and German casualties high, but a decisive breakthrough was achieved. A new French government was established at Vichy.

Italy, seeing the Allies brought low, wastes no time in turning the water of the Med red and black with blood and oil.

Turn 2, SU/CH not much to do... upgrading, producing, and watching the birds in the sky, while brave SU/CH workers are doing their best to speed up the war production...

Looks like the WA Leadership is reeling from the unexpected effectiveness of the Blitzkrieg. They struggle to position assets to the correct theatre of operations.
Europe's map is being painted grey as the Reich evil reach spreads across the land....

Winter 1940
Due to some diplomatic trouble in the Balkans, that front remained quiet this turn. The German foreign service, however, believe they will be able to secure more favorable conditions next turn.

In the Med, meanwhile, Axis operations continue, capturing Egypt.

Winter 40 - Japan: Continued pilot training with moderate success. Turn sent to Kondor.

Dahnyul as WA sends end of W40 to Dobeln as Germany (S40)

The Western Allies, surprised by Italy's entrance into the war made a critical strategic mistake, and allowed the bulk of their Mediterranean forces to be cut off from Cairo. A disastrous collapse ensued, and Germany now tightens it's vice like grip over North Africa and the Middle East. Stalin is certainly displeased that he is now going to have to face a much larger contingent of Axis forces along his border now that the Allies have stumbled fatally in North Africa.

Spring 1940, Germany / Italy
As the Italian navy revels in a moment of glory, Axis forces build up in Syria and Jordan, hoping to decimate the now cut-off Allied garrison in Iraq. More troops are moving to the Balkans, as German diplomats continue intense negotiations.

Operations in the Middle East continue, with the cut-off Allied expiditionary force in Iraq being wiped out. The Italian navy continues operations in the Indian Ocean. In a lightning campaign, Greece and Yugoslavia fall to the Axis. Turn sent to BoerWar.

Japan - Sum 40: Japanese Army suffers a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Chinese rabble. The Emperor demands heads. A leaderless army struggles onward.
