questions about the release

Post by wheeljack12 »

I know you talked of this earlier David. I was thinking about CFL lisencing for the game. Would you consider going directly in person or via webcast to the cfl offices and present this game the offices to see what they directly think? I mean even going during a league/owner's meeting to get the attention of everyone in the CFL to see if they would work a deal to lisence the game. Because the CFL is a league screaming for a video game and you finally have a finished product to present. I know that the '99 game was lisenced and didn't succeed. I was thinking you show them before you ask for the lisence. Get the vote from the league and/or owners that they would back you on it before taking a risk.

If the game takes off, particularly in Canda, I think the CFL might come calling for David. So no need for him to bug them right now IMHO.

The CFL and I have been in discussions about various things for a number of years now. Both officially and unofficially on a number of different fronts. There are a lot of things in the works but nothing close to being anywhere where I could talk about.

We'll see how it all pans out in a few months.

the other question would be, if the CFL offered enough (financial and marketing, etc.) for you to change the code (in a patch possbly) to reflect the OT situation (read in other posts that the 35 yard line shootout was not included for the game) along with a lisence in the future? Just thinking that NCAA and CFL both are using this. Not that all of us like it, but to possibly reflect the onfield game that is played.

Not to be an ass but it's "license" not "lisence". I cringe everytime I read that. [;)]
